online whiteboard

Hotline uses a free, online whiteboard tool. It lets tutors and students work together online. You and your Hotline tutor can draw, write, make pictures, and share math formulas on a whiteboard.

  1. Please respect other students’ sessions! Only enter a classroom AFTER you have begun a tutoring session with a Hotline teacher.

  2. The Hotline teacher you are working with will provide you with the link to the whiteboards. Enter the classroom that the Hotline teacher assigns you.

  3. A box will appear asking for your “nickname.” Enter your Hotline codename or other name.

  4. Use the tools on the page to work through your homework assignment with one of our teachers.

Our online whiteboard web page is private.
Please ask your tutor how to get to the whiteboards to effectively complete your homework.
Thank you for your understanding.

M’s teachers (all 3) recommended that he apply for the Cambridge Program at his middle school. He did and was accepted. That is huge for him; he achieved something that he thought was unreachable. He has received tutoring in ELA with Homework Hotline. I truly believe that his improvements in ELA/Reading directly lead to this accomplishment. He was already very strong in math. The tutoring helped him in all subjects due to the improvement in his reading skills. We appreciate the support M has received.

NEED REGULAR HELP WITH ONE SUBJECT OR CONCEPT?

Is your student falling behind in a specific subject at school? Has he/she missed an important concept that is causing current homework to be an issue? Scheduling weekly calls with one of our tutors may be right for you. You get to select a specific night and time during the week for a tutor to give your child a call. With the materials you provide (worksheets from school, online work, teacher given practice, etc.), the tutor can help your child master difficult concepts that his/her teachers may not be continuing to cover in class. To get started, we ask you to sign an agreement saying your student will be available at the designated time each week. Contact us for more information.

If you are looking for school- or district-specific work, please check our district resources page here. If you have questions about Hotline’s services, please email us here.
