how it started

Over the years, Hotline realized that Middle Tennessee students and their families were in need of more consistent engagement. With limited financial means and less than stable access to reliable transport, many Middle Tennessee students are unable to access private tutoring. Furthermore, English Learners also face language barriers to high-quality tutoring and academic support.

About the program

Parents and guardians can enroll their K-12 learners in Hotline’s weekly call-back tutoring program at no cost. Tutors are certified or retired Tennessee teachers who understand Tennessee standards, speak multiple languages, and love to work with students.

MSCS Program

Memphis Shelby County Schools also provides access to free multilingual tutoring to MSCS students. Parents and guardians of students attending Memphis Shelby County Schools may use the below form as well.
