Meet the dedicated teachers, staff, and volunteers who make it possible for Homework Hotline to provide thousands of FREE tutoring sessions to Tennessee students every academic year!
Since our first phone call in 1990, Homework Hotline has been powered by dedicated educators committed to helping students succeed. Today, our tutors include both currently certified and retired teachers who bring generations of teaching experience, diverse cultural perspectives, and a shared passion for supporting students.
Have you ever been licensed to teach in Tennessee? If so, we’d love to hear from you! Consider joining the Homework Hotline team and making a difference for students across Tennessee.

VOLUNTEERS
Our volunteers keep the wheels turning! They are a dedicated group of community members, high school students, and retired teachers who generously give their time to help Homework Hotline achieve its mission.
Volunteers come into Homework Hotline's offices to prepare materials for counties, organize and send prizes to students who have contacted us, or other essential office work supporting Hotline’s staff and teachers.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: Find a full list of our current volunteer opportunities by searching for Homework Hotline on the Hands On Nashville website (click here) or contact us directly!
